Enchanted by the simplicity & coziness, my sister & I went for a Scandinavian Christmas Tree. Minimalist with Pop of Colors.
We used to decorate our family Christmas Tree in kinda the same way for at least the last 10 years. The color combo of our ornaments was red and gold. That left us with little to no room for experimenting or adding something fresh and new. It’s not that I didn’t/don’t like them, there are some pretty damn great ornaments that we’ve managed to preserve along the way. But it just felt like it’s kinda the right time for something new. I’ve spotted a Scandinavian Christmas Tree long before the Christmas season kicked in, and have been imagining our own decorated that way ever since. I love that it combines the Scandinavian cold winters & the warmth of a soft-blanket snuggles & home.
As lots of you who hang out here already know, almost all of the ornaments were made by my sister and myself. And for those of you who missed them on the blog, here’s a little reminder: mini Woolen Hats, Snowman the Grey & the Scandinavian Santa.
With the Catholic Christmas just around the corner, I decided to share our Scandinavian Christmas Tree today. While I do that, I’ll use it as an opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, filled with family, friends, great food, drinks and great energy. As for the rest of us… well, the festivities and all of that are just beginning here. So, scroll down to check out the tree. I hope it’ll inspire you. As always, feel welcomed to share your own Christmas Tree in comments down below. I’ll be happy to check it out. So, merry Christmas to all & to all a good night.
