This Breakfast Taco recipe below can be prepped in like 20 minutes, but it’ll make your tummy feel all sorts of good!
I can’t say that I’ve ever tried an original taco & I don’t even know where tacos live haha (#iveseenitontheinternet). I mean I can say that I’ve tried an or original, traditional taco + know what I’m talking about here, but I’d be lying haha. Man, killin it with the jokes. Anywayys… Like I said, I’ve never tried a traditional Mexican taco, but it looked so delicious on the internet, and everyone’s always talking about it. And it all kinda did begin making me feel like, I don’t know, I haven’t tried pizza haha. I wish you can read this the way I’m saying it in my mind, cause if not, then you probably don’t find me funny and I should stop doing this jokes thing haha. So, I decided to make myself a breakfast taco & see what’s that all about.
It sure felt a lot like I was missing out on something super tasty. However, my besties Marija & Danilo have felt the same way too, so they decided to try and make some tacos themselves, and obviously invite me. That one time it was with fried chicken or something, I’m not sure it was quite a while ago (I used to remember like 99% of everything that happened to or around me + stuff I’ve heard, and now I’m down to like, 90% which is still good, I guess, and also that was some not very necessary information for you, right? sorry about that). The tacos we ate tho, felt goooood.
Afterwards, I’ve combined the recipes that my friends shared with me and my thorough research on Pinterest, tried making a few, and after several tries, oh my God! Now, I can’t compare the ones I made (+ the ones my friends made) to how a traditional taco tastes… Aand ever since I’ve quit smoking I’m rediscovering how different food tastes ones again (all is just 10 times more delicious it’s un-frigging-believable, I’m not joking). So, I may have made some mistakes, and what you’re seeing on this pictures maybe is far from what a taco should be made + taste, but like I said – oh my God! This was super delicious! I feel like I totally can understand all the taco fuss there is!
This recipe can be prepped fairly quickly & it’s meant to make your breakfast (or brunch) time more relaxed, and your stomach happy and full. To the recipe just below.
Easy & Delicious Breakfast Taco Recipe.
Time to Make | 20 Minutes
Serves | 2
Ingredients a.k.a. the Whats.
– 2 Tortillas (or taco shells, which I didn’t have)
– 2 Eggs, hard-boiled
– 1 Tomato, chopped
– 2 Cups Lettuce
– 1 Cup Pepperoni, chopped
– 1 Cup Edamer Cheese
1. Boil the eggs (hard).
2. Chop the eggs, tomato, lettuce, pepperoni + cheese.
3. Warm the tortillas in an oven (200 C for around 5-10 minutes).
4. Put all the ingredients on the tortillas, and taco!
I honestly loved how these turned out, yummy! However, if you think that I’ve made some mistake with the recipe or whatever feel free to correct me in comments.
