Hey you guys, long time no see! At least here on the blog that is. Before we get to the delicious crispy baked potato wedges recipe… I wanted to apologize for not being as consistent on the blog as I initially planned, and as you (or at least some of you) expected. Given how I am a one-woman show still, it hasn’t been easy to keep it up equally on all platforms and here. I’ not complaining or anything, I’m just trying to say that even though I’ve skipped posting on the blog a week or two, I will keep returning here because it’s such a happy place for me, and I really hope & aim towards making it feel that way for you too.
However, I’m trying to make it up to you with fun inspiration and happy content on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook daily, and I’m also working really hard on finding new fun ways to bring some of those happy, relaxed, getaway feels to you, other than blog posts and diy inspiration (and that’s all I can reveal for now), so I really hope you guys will understand me and bear with me. Okay, so with that said, let’s do the potatoes now. Of course, if you have any questions for me, about this blog, or anything similar to what I’ve described above, either comment or contact me on social media, and I will try to give you the answers you’re looking for (or at least point you to where you can maybe find them).
So, potatoes are awesome, right? There are all kinds of different ways to prepare and serve them, and they go well on the side with a ton of different meals and dishes. And, and, just as good when served alone. This recipe I’m sharing here is one that my bestie shared with me. She made them, loved them, and has been often making them ever since! I obviously had to try & make these myself, and well, that girl is not wrong! These are super easy to prepare, don’t take that much time either, are super crispy and delicious, and you can serve them to your fancy dinner party or on your low-key movie night as snacks. It’s a treasure, this recipe! So, let’s see how to make these below!
Chilly & Crispy Baked Potato Wedges Recipe.
– 4 Potatoes (medium size)
– 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
– 3 Tbsp Corn Flour
– 1 1/2 Tsp Garlic Pepper
– 1 1/2 Saffron
– 1 Tsp Rosemary
– 1/2 Tsp Chilli Powder
1. Preheat the oven to 200 C degrees (around 375 F). Peel the potatoes and wash them. Cut them in wedges and put them all in one bowl.
2. Pour the olive oil on top of them and mix them so they’re all coated evenly.
3. In a separate bowl mix all of the other ingredients together (corn flour, garlic pepper, saffron, rosemary, chilli powder), and then pour that mixture on top of the potato wedges. Mix them well.
4. Put a baking sheet on your pan, and put the potatoes on.
You can sprinkle some more of the seasonings (or some other seasonings) on top of the potato wedges before you put them in the oven (I wanted to put basil cause I absolutely love it!, but I didn’t have any at the moment, but you can go with whatever it is you like).
5. Bake for around 15-20 minutes.
