This & That // Previous Week’s Highlights.
the Forth Birthday Week in a Row Story.
If you caught the This and That post past Monday and the week’s highlights, you’ll probably remember me talking about the four birthday weeks in a row, and this past one being kinda the last one for a while. If you’ve missed that, here’s a little reminder.
Anyhow, yesterday was Maria’s birthday & she celebrated it at Kashmir. There were around 20 people. We had so much fun, we laughed, we talked, we danced.. There was champagne at one point which was a total surprise for her. And most of us actually. It was really great. There were 2 types of awesome sweet treats. Оne of which was Grimi’s new product and yet another proof that someone really loves us and wants us to be happy… And the other were this cute little brownies with gold glitter on top that tasted delicious. And the ones that I, not clumsy at all, almost through them on the ground. Happy that that didn’t happen!
However, I love that we finally started getting each other’s gifts for our birthdays instead of money. There are lots of things that each of us would love having, but would never actually get them for ourselves. It was exiting to think and try to come up with a great gift that the birthday girl will love. So, I got her a nice lace bralette from Women’s Secret (similar and also great this & this), an earrings that can be worn in 3 different ways and a lipstick. I made her a card which said that I love her. And, I kinda made a self portrait on the card. It turned out really funny, which is actually what I’ve been hoping for. I don’t have any photos now, but I’ll make sure to photograph (at least) the card and share it with you in the next several days.
Looking Forward To…
The rest of the week was just as great. There are snowdrops emerging and reminding us that spring will soon be here. Which is thrilling for me for so many reasons. I have some projects that I plan to do once spring arrives. I’m also looking forward to the blossoms in my backyard. Also, my mom, who’s visiting my uncle and aunt in Chicago and has been there for 5 months now, will arrive home just before spring does. I can’t wait to see her and hug her and all. Plus, the blog’s turning one. Lots of amazing things to look forward too…
Anyhow, as usual, I’ve selected my favorite moments from past week which you can see below.
