Paper Crafts // Hand-Made Cocktail Stirrers & Selfie Props for an Italian Themed Bachelorette Party.
You’ve all probably learned about how passionate I am about DIY, paper and other crafts (if you’ve been hanging out here pretty often, you most certainly know). And it sometimes tends to get out of control. But this is only when I find myself wanting to make something that it would be in-all-ways better if I’d simply bought it in a store. Luckily, I do try and learn from my mistakes…
Anyway, not only do I enjoy doing these things for myself, I also love it when my friends will ask me to make or help them make something (paper-crafty, mostly). Birthday card(s), selfie props, invitations, party decorations… It feels awesome knowing that people come to you when they need something. They trust that you can do that and you’ll do it great. Even if it’s about something as simple as a birthday card.
Last week, this girl I know from high school called Ana texted me and asked me if I could make some party decorations. It was for a bachelorette party that she was throwing for some friend. Of course I said yes, hello, passion. Ana had an Italian theme planned (her friends is, I think, an Italian teacher). And my task was to make a wall garland (saying addio al nubilato), cocktail stirrers and selfie props. All things Italian. I freaked out a little bit at the beginning (like I always with something that I haven’t done before), but I managed to calm down. And so let’s do this!
Hand-Made Italian Themed Bachelorette Party.
Unfortunately, I didn’t photograph the garland, but it was rectangle-shaped Italian flags, and each letter (addion al nubilato) separately glued to each flag.
The amount of fun I had while making all of these is pretty much indescribable. The red-wine glasses, and the pizzas and my absolute favorite. Head on below for the rest of the photos.
So, in case you’re prepping an Italian Party, I hope that these will serve you well as inspiration. If you fancy this, make sure that your friends hear all about it. And, of course, you’re welcomed to share your thought in comments!
